Mrs. Lincoln's Attic
Children's Area Area

Mrs. Lincoln’s AtticIn this hands-on children's area, kids of all ages are welcome to play. Try on Lincoln's suit or Mary's dress. Dress up as a Civil War Soldier. Practice your alphabet with slate and chalk. Try your skills with a buzz-saw. Rearrange the furniture in the Lincoln Home doll house. Cook a pretend dinner for your family. Have a picture taken with life-size cutouts of young Abe Lincoln, his sister and parents. But bring an adult with you! All children must be accompanied by a responsible grown up — and who knows...they will probably want to play too!
