The Tea Ladies return "My Grandmother's Apron" May 16 at Presidential Library Springfield, IL — The next in the series of popular Saturday Afternoon Teas at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library will feature the return of the Victorian Tea Ladies. "My Grandmother's Apron" with the Tea Ladies is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, May 16. Bring your own vintage apron with a story behind it, as the Tea Ladies share what women historically have done while wearing their aprons, including gardening, cooking, sewing, laundry, and more. The tea will be held in the all-glass Lincoln Reception Room at the Presidential Library. Tickets are $35 each, which includes tea, savories and cakes, and may be purchased at www.presidentlincoln.org or by calling (217) 558-8934. ###
