Horace Mann and the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library Award Fellowships

SPRINGFIELD, IL: Horace Mann Educators Corporation (NYSE: HMN) and The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library (ALPL) named 50 educators as recipients of the inaugural Horace Mann-AbrahamLincoln Fellowship Program. The Fellows will study the life and legacy of Abraham Lincoln at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum in Springfield, Ill. this summer.

"Sharing the extraordinary resources of our neighbor, the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum, with the educational community is an exciting prospect that will benefit students, educators and school districts across the country," said Louis G. The Fellowship, a five-day curriculum created by the ALPL Foundation, includes travel, lodging and other associated fees. The program is open to any full-time K-12 teacher in the United States. Applicants were judged on their experience, letters of recommendation and essay question responses.
